PART FORTY THREE
Hikmah #421
“If it is too difficult to annihilate in the prophets and the awliya Allah
in order to become humble, truthful, sincere, zuhud and fanafillah
like them because you cannot imagine their holy peaceful faces
then annihilate yourself in their lataif lights that shine through
their souls, their spiritual hearts, their minds, their spirits.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
“And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are (spiritually) alive with their Lord, receiving (spiritual ethereal) provision.”
( Surat Aa’li I’mraan verse 169 )
“And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you see (through the third eye) a single one of them, or hear (through the spiritual ear) from them the slightest whisper (living in another space time dimension)?”
( Surat Maryam verse 98 )
Hikmah #422
“Satan failed because of his pride
If we think that we can annihilate in God
without need first to annihilate in His
beloved prophets and awliya then there
is still a dangerous fire of pride in us.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
Ibn Mas’ud (r) said: The Prophet (SWS) said: “The haughty, even with pride (of EGO) equal to a mustard seed in his heart, will not enter jannah.”
~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam (Sahih Muslim #91)
“It shall be said: Enter the gates of hell to abide therein; so evil is the abode of the proud (sign of EGO).”
( Surat az-Zumar verse 72)
Hikmah #423
“In their lifetime, the prophets were the doors to God
After their lifetime, they are still the doors to God
Without them no one, even the living Awliya, can
reach and be intimate with the Ultimate Reality of God.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
“And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.”
( Surat Yuunus verse 25 )
Hikmah #424
“If you are affected by the words of an Awliya Allah
And feel spiritually connected to that Awliya Allah
It is not because of the will of the Awliya but God Himself
invites you to come to Him through that Awliya Allah.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
“If Allah would love his servant He would call Archangel Jibraeel (Gabriel) and tell him “I love this person, therefore love him.” And Jibraeel would love him and call out in the heavens “Allah loves this person, therefore love him.” And the inhabitants of the heavens would love him. Then he would be embraced by the people of this world.”
~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam (Sahih Muslim)
Hikmah #425
“It was not Al-Khidr who invited Moses to follow him
But God Himself invited Moses to follow Al-Khidr.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
“And they found a servant from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge. Moses said to him, “May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?”He said, “Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?”
( Surat Al-Kahf verse 65-68 )
Hikmah #426
“And it was not Uways who invited Umar bin Khattab to follow him
But God Himself through the words of his beloved Muhammad (saws)
invited Umar bin al-Khattab to follow Uways Malik al-Qarani.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
Usayr bin Jabir (r) reported that a delegation from Kufa came to ‘Umar and there was a person amongst them who jeered at Uways. Thereupon Umar (r) said: Is there amongst us one from Qaran? That person came and Umar said: Verily Allah’s Messenger (SWS) has said: “There would come to you a person from Yemen who would be called Uways and he would leave none in Yemen (behind him) except his mother, and he would have the whiteness (due to leprosy) and he supplicated Allah and it was cured except for the size of a dinar or dirham. He who amongst you meets him should ask him to supplicate for forgiveness (from Allah) for you.”
~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam [Sahih Muslim Chapter 55 Book 031 #6170]
‘Umar bin Khattab (r) reported: I heard Allah’s Messenger (SWS) as saying: “Worthy amongst the successors would be a person who would be called Uways. He would have his mother (living with him) and he would have (a small) sign of leprosy. Ask him to beg pardon for you (from Allah).”
~ Sayyidina Muhammad SallAllahu a’layhi wa-sallam [Sahih Muslim Chapter 55 Book 031 #6171]
Usayr bin Jabir (r) reported that when people from Yemen came to help (the Muslim army at the time of jihad) he asked them: Is there amongst you Uways bin ‘Amir? (He continued finding him out) until he met Uways. He said: Are you Uways bin Amir? He said: Yes. He said: Are you from the tribe of Qaran? He said: Yes. He (Hadrat) ‘Umar (again) said: Did you suffer from leprosy and then you were cured from it but for the space of a dirham? He said: Yes. He (‘Umar) said: Is your mother (living)? He said: Yes. He (‘Umar) said: I heard Allah’s Messenger (SWS) say: There would come to you Uways bin Amir with the reinforcement from the people of Yemen. (He would be) from Qaran, (the branch) of Murid. He had been suffering from leprosy from which he was cured but for a spot of a dirham. His treatment with his mother would have been excellent. If he were to take an oath in the name of Allah, He would honour that. And if it is possible for you, then do ask him to beg forgiveness for you (from your Lord). So he (Uways) begged forgiveness for him. Umar said: Where do you intend to go? He said: To Kufa. He (‘Umar) said: Let me write a letter for you to its governor, whereupon he (Uways) said: I love to live amongst the poor people. When it was the next year, a person from among the elite (of Kufa) performed Hajj and he met Umar. He asked him about Uways. He said: I left him in a state with meagre means of sustenance. (Thereupon) Umar said: I heard Allah’s Messenger (SWS) as saying: There would come to you Uways bin ‘Amir, of Qaran, a branch (of the tribe) of Murid, along with the reinforcement of the people of Yemen. He had been suffering from leprosy which would have been cured but for the space of a dirham. His treatment with his mother would have been very kind. If he would take an oath in the name of Allah (for something) He would honour it. Ask him to beg forgiveness for you (from Allah) in case it is possible for you. So he came to Uways and said: Beg forgiveness (from Allah) for me. He (Uways) said: You have just come from a sacred journey (Hajj); you, therefore, ask forgiveness for me. He (the person who had performed Hajj) said: Ask forgiveness for me (from Allah). He (Uways again) said: You have just come from the sacred journey, so you ask forgiveness for me. (Uways further) said: Did you meet Umar? He said: Yes. He (Uways) then begged forgiveness for him (from Allah). So the people came to know about (the status of religious piety) of Uways. He went away (from that place). Usayr said: His clothing consisted of a mantle (the mantle of the Prophet Muhammad [SWS]), and whosoever saw him said: From where did Uways get this mantle?”
~ Sahih Muslim Chapter 55 Book 031 #6172
Hikmah #427
“Most Awliya Allah are hidden but those who have a golden heart
like those of Moses and Umar bin al-Khattab will know and meet them
They will be invited by God Himself to follow His beloved Hidden Awliya.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
“And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, “I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period.”But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, “Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue.”He said, “Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan – that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly”.[Moses] said, “That is what we were seeking.” So they returned, following their footprints. And they found a servant (al-Khidr) from among Our servants to whom we had given mercy from us and had taught him from Us a [certain] knowledge.”
( Surat Al-Kahf verse 60-65 )
Hikmah #428
“In 127 countries there lives at least one Waliy Allah (Saint of God)
Most of them, like Uways al-Qarani in the time of Muhammad (sws),
are hidden. God hides their spiritual ranks.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395H – )
“No doubt! Verily, the Awliya’ of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who believed and were fearing Allah. For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allah, this is indeed the supreme success.”
( Surat Yuunus verse 62-64 )
Hikmah #429
“The highest ranks among the Awliya are those who have the spiritual
drive of the brown man Adam, black man Enoch, the white man Noah,
Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ and Muhammad (sws), 7 in 1, in them.
They are like Shah e-Mardan Ali and Imam Mahdi in their respective
times. Between Shah e-Mardan Ali and Imam Mahdi, there are many
Imam Rabbani (Leaders of the men of God), with or without titles.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
“O you who have believed, fear Allah and seek the means [of nearness] to Him and strive in His cause that you may succeed.”
( Surat Al-Ma’idaah verse 35 )
Hikmah #430
“In spirituality, titles are unimportant
It is the blessing of God that makes a person a Waliy Allah,
not titles, not names, not garments, not turbans.”
~ Yos Wiyoso Hadi (Moharram 5, 1395AH – )
“Follow those who ask no reward (nor praise) of you (for themselves), and they are [rightly] guided.”
( Surat Yaa-Siin verse 21 )
